You already know what to do.
Something inside won't let you do it.

Functional medicine health coaching paired with Internal Family Systems–informed parts work — for driven, capable people who've tried the protocols, followed the plans, and keep finding themselves back at the beginning. We work with the biology and the part of you that's been protecting something.

Protocols don't fail. The parts of you protecting something do.

You've read the books. You've tried different diets, the supplements, the sleep routine, the breathwork. Sometimes it even works — for a while. Then something slips. The protocol gets harder to follow. You find yourself exactly where you started, often wondering what's wrong with you.

Nothing is wrong with you. There is a part of you doing exactly what it was hired to do — protect you from something older, deeper, and usually invisible. Until that part is seen and worked with directly, no plan, however good, will hold.

The gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it isn't a discipline problem. It's a protection problem.

Anchored Vitality works with both. The biology — through functional labs, data, and behavior-change coaching. And the internal system — through IFS parts work that meets the protectors, unburdens what they've been carrying, and makes room for the healing you've been trying to access.

A structured 12-to-16 week container, shaped around your system.

Not open-ended. Not à la carte. A defined arc with a beginning, a middle, and a graduation — so the work actually lands and becomes yours to keep.

01

Weeks 1 – 3

Foundation

We start with the full picture. Parts-aware intake, baseline labs you order and own, DEXA body composition scan, and your first mapping session. By the end of phase one, you have a protocol built for your biology and an initial read on the internal system running the show.

  • Parts-aware intake & history
  • Functional lab ordering guidance
  • Baseline DEXA scan (included)
  • First 1:1 mapping session
02

Weeks 4 – 10

Breakthrough

The real work. Biweekly 1:1 sessions blending behavior-change coaching and IFS parts work. The protocol adjusts as we meet the protectors underneath. This is where people stop white-knuckling their health and start leading it from a different place entirely.

  • Biweekly 1:1 sessions (60 min)
  • Protocol refinement as parts surface
  • Windowed messaging support
  • Weekly group practice calls
03

Weeks 11 – 16

Integration

Spacing out. Fewer 1:1s, more independent practice, a re-test of baseline markers, and a graduation plan. You leave with a protocol you own, a parts literacy you can return to, and proof — in data and lived experience — that something has shifted.

  • Re-test DEXA + functional markers
  • Habit installation & independence
  • Graduation session & long-term plan
  • Alumni group access

Who this is and isn't for.

This is for you if

  • You've tried good plans and keep landing back at square one.
  • You sense that something internal — not informational — is in the way.
  • You're open to working with labs and parts in the same room.
  • You want a finite container with real structure, not an endless coaching relationship.
  • You have a functional med practitioner, or you're willing to establish one.

This isn't for you if

  • You're in an active medical or mental health crisis that needs clinical care first.
  • You want someone to diagnose, prescribe, or interpret labs clinically.
  • You're looking for a quick fix or a meal plan.
  • You're not ready to meet the parts of you that have been running the show.
  • You want therapy. (I'll refer you to a licensed IFS therapist.)

I was in the room for thousands of patient conversations before I became a coach.

For years I worked as an imaging aide — present for scans, results, prognoses, the quiet moments people found out what was happening inside their bodies. I watched brilliant treatment plans handed to patients who never followed through. I watched others with worse odds get well. The difference was almost never the medicine.

That's what I coach now — the work that actually lives between the protocol and the person. Functional medicine for the body. IFS for the parts running it.

SIGNS A PART OF YOU IS RUNNING YOUR HEALTH

Anchored Vitality · PDF

Five signs a part of you is running your health — and what to do about it.

A short, free guide introducing the framework behind Anchored Vitality. Read it in 10 minutes; see yourself on the page. If it lands, you'll know whether the container is a fit long before we talk.

Before you apply.

Is this therapy?

+

No. I hold the IFS Foundations for Coaches™ Completed credential. I am not a licensed IFS therapist — this work uses the IFS framework to help you understand and work with the parts of you that influence health behavior — it is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If therapeutic-level parts work is indicated, I refer out to a licensed IFS therapist.

Can you read my labs and tell me what's wrong?

+

No — and this is an important boundary that protects you. Clinical interpretation is your licensed practitioner's job. My job is to help you implement the protocol your practitioner recommends, notice what's working, and work with the parts of you that resist the changes. You'll always own your labs and your care.

I don't have a functional medicine doctor. Can I still work with you?

+

Yes, with a plan. We can begin by coaching around direct-to-consumer labs (for example, Function Health) that you order and own, and by working with your primary care provider. If clinical interpretation becomes important, I can share referral options for functional practitioners in California and virtually.

Is this in-person or virtual?

+

Coaching sessions are virtual and work with clients anywhere. The DEXA baseline and re-test are performed in person in the Bay Area. If you're outside the Bay Area, we'll arrange equivalent baseline measures or adjust the package accordingly.

How long until I feel something shift?

+

Most clients notice internal shifts within the first few weeks — often before the biology does. The point of the 16-week arc is that the biology and the parts work catch up to each other. I'll never promise specific outcomes; I will promise that if you show up to the container, the container will meet you.

Why an application instead of just booking a call?

+

Because this isn't for everyone, and discovery calls are for mutual fit, not sales. The application helps me understand what's bringing you here so our 45 minutes together are useful — and so I can tell you honestly, before we spend them, whether I'm the right person for the work.

If something in you recognizes this, let's talk.

A short application, then a 45-minute discovery call. No pressure, no pitch — just a real conversation about whether the work I do is the work you're being called to.
